Pipeline Projects 101
Have you ever wondered about the process of building a pipeline in Canada? Join us for a presentation by three representatives from ILF Consulting Engineers who will thoroughly explain everything you need to know about pipelines!
This presentation will provide an introductory overview presentation for the successful execution of a pipeline project in Canada, where representatives from ILF will touch on the key engineering stages, stakeholders, project drivers, and roles and responsibilities. The speakers will review the overall process: from environmental, regulatory, permitting, surveying, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operation, while highlighting the various components of a pipeline system - from the linear pipe, the valve assemblies to the facilities. Attendees will be able to engage with the speakers during Q&A.

Speaker Bios
Jaye Selin, P.Eng.
Vice President Oil, Gas & Industrial, ILFJaye has more than 30 years of industry experience as an energy professional in the oil & gas sector, bringing a strong and diverse experience base to his role. His hands-on approach has led to successes in a multitude of areas, across Engineering, Project Management, Business Development, Senior Management of established and start-up divisions, Technical Operations, Business Operations, and Executive Management.
Jaye holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.
Tanvee Noriega, P.Eng., MBA
Project Manager & Business Development, ILFTanvee has more than 12 years of experience in the energy industry, working as a Program/Project Manager, Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, across oil & gas pipeline and facility projects. She currently leads one of ILF’s integrity programs for a top-tier midstream operator.
Tanvee holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Waterloo, Master of Engineering with an Energy and Environment Specialization, along with a Master of Business Administration with a Project Management Specialization from University of Calgary. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta.
David Charlebois, P.Eng.
Business Development & Marketing Manager, ILFDavid has more than 15 years of experience, in the energy industry of Canada. He has worked for engineering and procurement service providers his entire career, performing several roles, including, Mechanical Engineer, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Technical Proposal Manager, Business Development and Marketing leadership.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Alberta.
